So i'm OBSESSED with both Anderson Cooper and Barack Obama and all my friends 1) know it and 2) think it's more than a little creepy.

I'll have to post some photos of my Cooper/Obama memorabilia sometime.

So the point of the post is that my friend Cassandra was on textsfromlastnight.com and saw this post, told me about it and I just had to share it:

Here in Canada spring does not officially arise for another month or so, but the past few days the weather has been quite warm.
Now I can't help but think about those spring days where the windows are open and it's the first time all year when you can smell the outdoors without freezing your ba-donka-dunk off.
Such lovely photos remind me of spring cleaning, fresh flowers on the counter and curtains blowing in the breeze.

Ottawa!

I'm off to Ottawa for a great program where I will spend a week learning about International Affairs. There will be some great lectures by specialists in International Affairs and there might even be someone for the UN there!
Yes, this is what excites me. That, and trying to find patches of Wi-fi while on my NINE HOUR train ride.

There better be Wi-fi where I'm staying. Or else tears may fall.

It's such a beautiful city.

I haven't been in 3 years.

Desirables

I need a spring update for my room.

When you see such beautiful vintage items you think two things:
1) Why do we throw so much stuff away when it'll look gorgeous on your fireplace mantle in forty years?
2) I want to keep everything so in forty years I can use it as home decor or sell it on Etsy

Terrariums are so great because my cats eat any potted plants. ):
I'm sure if I bought a cactus my cats wouldn't eat that either ;)
